The South Australia government has established BioSA to foster growth of the local bioscience industry. The BioSA team works with connecting science, research and industry to develop and establish commercial opportunities for companies in South Australia across the metro, Adelaide Hills and greater regional areas.
BioSA assistance ranges from consultancy through to financial assistance in the research and development of bioscience products from early stage to commercialisation of technologies.
Speaking with the BioSA team, their primary push for the current year is in expanding the provision of advice on business and product development, mentoring, financial advice and support, marketing and communication services as well as infrastructure planning and specialist facilities management for the local bioscience industry.
