Mission & Strategy

 

Mission

Reporting to the Minister for Science and Information Economy, Bio Innovation SA's mission is to enable the creation of 50 new bioscience companies and 2500 jobs by 2010.

 

Strategy

Bio Innovation SA is responsible for implementing South Australia's bioscience strategy and assists the State Government with policy development.

 

The Bio Innovation SA strategy has six key elements:

Generate strategy and policy

Build the research engine to strengthen bioscience research output

3

Enhance the entrepreneurial culture

4

Facilitate commercialisation of intellectual property

5

Provide access to bioscience infrastructure

6

Promote and communicate the State’s bioscience capability nationally and globally
